Our Time’s Buy Young Entrepreneurial Summit at the White House – July, 2011

On Wednesday, July 13, 2011 Magic City Black Expo creators were called to the White House to participate in a roundtable discussion with senior Administration officials, Congressional leadership and the nation’s top young entrepreneurs. They represented one team of an exclusive group of entrepreneurs that were hand-selected to attend the Buy Young Launch Event hosted by Our Time membership group.
The goal of the summit was to address and discuss job creation, barriers to small business growth and entrepreneurial opportunities in the United States. More than 100 top entrepreneurs were present in an effort to reinforce the fact that young Americans are major contributors to the success of the U.S. economy and key drivers of job creation. The entrepreneurs attending the conference alone had created over 7,000 jobs altogether.
