• Being a sponsor and vendor at the 2011 Magic City Black Expo was a wonderful experience. As a photographer, a majority of my interactions with potential clients take place via the Internet, through email and various social media sites. The MCBE provided me a fantastic opportunity to connect with a large and diverse pool of potential clients on a more personal level. I also had the opportunity to participate in the 100 Urban Entrepreneurs/The Cashflow.com’s 60 second business-pitch competition, which led to my business winning a $10,000 business grant and 8 weeks of in-depth business mentoring with a group of individuals who continue to inspire me daily.
